Quite a good landline phone. Did find the buttons were smaller than we would have liked, and fairly close together. A bigger button version of this phone would be better for an older persons use.

I recently purchased the BT Decor 2600 Corded Phone (Renewed), and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Even though it’s a renewed model, it arrived in excellent condition—clean, well-packaged, and working like new. The standout feature for me is the Advanced Call Blocker. It's incredibly effective at stopping nuisance calls, which had become a daily annoyance. With just a few button presses, I can block specific numbers or even entire call types. The built-in "One-Touch Call Block" button is a real time-saver. The phone itself is solidly built with a classic, easy-to-use design. The large buttons and clear display make it perfect for elderly users or anyone who prefers simplicity and reliability. Sound quality is crystal clear, and I love the hands-free speakerphone for when I’m multitasking. This phone delivers fantastic value for the price, especially as a renewed product. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and most importantly, peaceful, thanks to the call-blocking features. Highly recommended!

Bought this to replace my old phone that no longer works , item arrived promptly and looks as good as new . Easy to use and set up, the only thing that doesn’t work is the actual microphone part of the handset but the loudspeaker function works fine

Regarding these phones, for being classed as 'refurbished' i have to say these were like new, not a single mark or defect in the software (that i have discovered yet anyway) so I'm glad i chose to take the punt on getting these, instead of the brand new unused ones at a much higher price. I bought 3 of these so i saved quite a bit of money and I feel i got my monies worth for sure. The boxes looked new, the parts were wrapped up, all the cables looked new including the instructions, so to other potential buyers looking here, don't be afraid to get these refurbished ones! If you're looking at these, it's likey the built in block feature that brought you here, i can't comment in regards to that feature as i haven't set them up for that yet, I'm still entering numbers and saving them as i go and once complete i will turn on the block feature then, but knowing Amazon customers, someone else will have covered this feature in good detail so be sure to check others reviews. _____ The rest below is not a review about the phone, but i felt the need to write this so as to help make other folks aware of the dangers which are coming to the surface about wireless devices. If you're not interested or simply don't care, then the review ends here. Thanks for reading. _____ I bought these 'landline' phones because i wanted to get rid of the wireless ones due to the radiation output from them, and after reading various studies about cancers and nervous system damage caused by such high levels of radiation emitted from those wireless phones, i quickly pieced together in my mind what all those little pains and other odd things were due to, at least, that's what i think since I'm young and healthy and fit. Since stopping using wifi-enabled products and wireless phones, i 'feel' (in my mind, hard to explain i guess) a change for the better, like, lighter and clear headed? (not sure how to explain it) so perhaps it's just my imagination, but i do feel a bit of a change for the better already since i stopped using wireless phones and wifi devices. This change from wireless phones to landline phones won't stop the emissions coming from my neighbours wireless phones or wifi routers, but at least I'm no longer in the thick of it now in my own home, and thankfully i don't live slap bang in the middle of a big city where giant commercial wireless transmiters along with individual wireless transmitters are on 24/7. (You wonder why lots more people are depressed thesedays and on anti-depressants and other behavioural adjustment medications? Some things I've read from credible people suggest direct links to wifi and wireless devices to neurological changes). There are things folks can do to protect against emissions coming from neighbours wireless phones and wifi routers, but that would involve a lot of work, not impossible or too hard, just a lot of time and labour, but might be worth it in the long run. Do a search on the subject and take it into consideration anyway. Also be sure to read up on the dangers of wifi/wireless phones so you can make your own choice about this. Even easy to make changes for yourself, like wired telephones, and using long ethernet cables instead of wifi which means you're safer since you're wired plus no more wifi emissions of course. Now i can't say for sure, but back in 2005 or 2006, i bought my grandmother wireless home phones thinking it was going to be easier for her to manage, but in 2010 or thereabouts, she was diagnosed with parkinsons, and i do recall her complaining of a lot of stress and pains in her hands and wrists not so long after i got her the phones, maybe around 3 months or so after i got her the phones. The phones i bought her were a 'top of the range' big name brand and quite expensive at the time, and were the same models i had myself for around a year prior to getting them for her, and i too also noticed stress and pain in my hands and wrists, although i put that down to my lifting heavy weights a lot. I can't help feel guilt ridden about my grandmothers parkinsons, i got her those phones and then later she got parkinsons and i should have clicked on from the beginning when she was complaining about stress and pain in her hands, if i had clicked on at that stage and removed the phones, perhaps she might not have parkinsons today. I share this experience and information in hope that it may help you and your loved ones, this is truely horrible to sit here with such guilt and even worse to see how parkinsons is effecting my grandmothers life. Many of you reading this will no doubt laugh and brush this off as nonsense, but in my view these things are connected, there's just too many 'small things' that have added up for it to be something else. That's fine if you're laughing, I don't mind being wrong and correcting it, but still, i feel morally obligated to make others aware of it anyway, just in case. Thanks for reading, and please do look into this subject, it's worth knowing one way or the other for peace of mind.

Arrived promptly and although listed as refurbished, was had to distinguish if not new! Good basic phone with adjustable handset and speakerphone volumes. Note: requires a mains socket nearby as has a power supply. Other features have been covered in other reviews.
