We read quite a few reviews and settled on this Panasonic model. Larger buttons than normal and a handy volume + & - on the side of the phone make life easier for a start. They were very easy to set up and whilst we may not use all the available functions hope to make use of the Call blocking feature when our new broadband/land line contract comes into effect. Yes, really pleased with the phones so far. Would certainly recommend. Reviewed by 2 pensioners.

We have used Panasonic cordless landline phones for many years, so when our ageing Panasonic set began to cause us some problems we decided to replace them with a new pair comprising answerphone with handset and separate handset. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. After reading the write ups we were expecting clearer sound, and more importantly louder sound - as both our hearing is beginning to deteriorate. In practice the new set sounds "muffly" and the volume seems lower to us than our previous set, - even with the volume set to its highest. We do like the bigger buttons, but that's about all. We did debate returning them, but can do without that hassle to be honest.

It might seem weird to give a 5-star rating to a product that doesn't rate 5 stars on any individual criterion, but that's partly because the ones chosen by Amazon don't tell the whole story. This is plainly a premium product, and without doubt the best multi-phone cell I've ever owned - It's chunky, it's backlit, it's got big digits, and it lasts a long time when not connected; what more could you want? The answer, it would seem, is "call blocking". in all it's myriad forms - of which this phone (I assume) is a master - but they're all so involved I can't be bothered to learn how to do it myself. That, however, is NOT the phone's fault, and I really like the large digit display and simple speakerphone operation. The speaker and earphone volumes are adequate for someone like me but, I suspect, lacking for anyone with hearing difficulty which is (I suspect) where this phone may be targeted. And who knows, maybe somebody will show me how to do all that fancy call-blocking stuff one day. :-)
